Shouldn't doctors be banned from drinking/consuming alcohol?

Doctors are raised to a higher moral standard than the regular population, due to taking an oath that they would dedicate their lives to helping and healing people. This explains why a doctor even charged with public intoxication or assault over a bar fight will lose their license and ability to practice medicine. Now let me clarify: According to the AMA, the second greatest reason doctors lose their license is due to being hung-over and having alcohol in their system, which greatly impairs their medical judgment. If a doctor wants to continue drinking, then they better work in research and not practice medicine. Therefore, shouldn't doctors be banned from drinking alcohol for the greater safety of the patients they vowed to help in the first place?
