Is it just me or has supercross lost it's meaning?

Yeah it's just you. If you think Reed, Villopto, Dungey, Millsaps, etc. are second rate then you need to find a new sport to watch. And John I really don't know what the hell your talking about. It is no more expensive to race a 4 stroke than a 2 stroke. There are just as many people, if not more, racing the amateur ranks since we moved to 4 strokes. Sounds like you guys are just out of touch and living in the past. Do either of you even still race?
