Realy need help with this sore throat ?

Well i have been on these tablets for a few days now called erythomycin gastro resistant tablets he gave me them because i keep getting red spots that are spreading on my face but it is not acne or out but now my throat has been killing amd showing side affects of strep throat??? Its realy horrble and am confused need bit of advice :(
