HAIR RELAXER FOR RESISTANT/COASE HAIR?

So I got my very first relaxer a few days ago and I'm not super satisfied with :(. It's kinda of stiff and not as "flowy" as I would want it. What relaxers should I use? Any tips on smoothing it out?
