Buying a great flashlight?

Get a Mag-lite. they are a bit pricey, but they are the best general purpose flashlight around. They can be used as spotlights, floodlights, or, in a pinch, weapons. They vary in size from 1 AAA cell to 6 D cells. They are made out of machined aluminum, and are tough. They come in LED or regular bulbs. Don't know about waterproof.
